STAGE 01

Age Range
18 months – 6 years old

Mini Kickers

Mini Kickers is the entry stage for most footballers and the starting point for their development. Attending weekly sessions that are structured around an ethos of fun and play as we look to provide a positive introduction into football.

Starting their journey normally between the ages of 18 months up to 4 years old, the sessions are focused on the basics of kicking, dribbling & controlling the ball through a fun environment. As they reach the age of 4 up to the age of 6 the coaching sessions become more football focused centred around the elements of team play and introducing them into a match environment through a 3v3 format to ensure maximum touches and involvement for each player, leading to faster & greater skill gains.

Holiday camps

From the ages of 4 and 5 we start to see the introduction of our Holiday Camps.

The camps take place during all school holidays with our soccer centres delivering a fun football themed camp
in a safe environment, supported by qualified coaches.

Football parties

Our Football Parties offer an action packed 90 minute hassle free party for your soccer mad youngster.

Parties include 1 hour of football fun with a qualified coach, party bags, cake and football boots for the birthday boy/girl.

Stage 02

Age Range
7 – 10 years old

Academy Team

Fives Academy teams provide a pathway for kids of all abilities, our teams offer qualified coaches rather than a parents taking the team with no qualifications, our coaches further enhance the players’ abilities as they have access to weekly structured training sessions from quality coaches then take part in weekly fixtures.

It also allows the higher standard of player to show case their abilities against higher opposition in front of scouts with the potential to be signed by professional academy teams.

Junior Leagues

Our mini-Fives footballers are taking the next step on their journey as they move from weekly coaching to joining a local grassroots teams.

Working with local grassroots Junior leagues we are able to host the fixtures for their Under 7’s to Under 10’s age groups at the first FA affiliated Fives Soccer Centre on FA guideline sized pitches that ensure fixtures are able to take place whatever the weather.

Advanced Coaching

At this stage for those wishing to further their training and experience there is the opportunity to attend Advanced Coaching.

This isn’t specific to the better standard of player it is open to all kids & abilities that want to increase their development by attending extra weekly coaching sessions, usually taking place mid-week in the evening, focusing on skill development, one to one coaching or goalkeeper sessions.

Stage 03

Age Range
11 – 16 years old

Junior Leagues

The next step on their Fives footballing journey sees them taking the first steps to organising their own 5-a-side experiences as they enter our junior leagues, starting at 16 and on a Friday evening they register their team into our 5-a-side junior leagues.

Our centres are constantly used as a base for their mid-week training during the winter months making the most of the pitches under the lights that are playable in all weather conditions.

Pay & Play

We offer a pay & play system around £5 per player.

Pay & Play guarantees a pitch for a minimum of an hour with friends. This is their first introduction to our technology, having access to the digital score boards & pitch camera technology which allows them to show their game online in real time, also to share highlights or clips such as a stunning volley, outrageous nutmeg or that funny own goal on their social media platforms.

Stage 04

Age Range
16 – 18 years old

Education and Emploment

Coming out of School we offer the opportunity to study a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport at Fives, this course provides an excellent & varied programme giving students access to higher education or a wide variety of careers in sport.

During their time completing the BTEC we also offer opportunities alongside local FA’s to deliver coaching and refereeing qualifications, providing a pipeline of students starting their working life at Fives through coaching kids parties, holiday camps or refereeing in our junior or adult leagues.

Upon completion of their 2 year BTEC course students have the option to continue their education
at University including our partner Uni UA92, they also have the option to seek full or part time employment with Fives.

Stage 05

Age Range
18 – 60 years old

Adult League

Finishing their education, the players move out of the junior leagues and into our adult 5-a-side leagues.

Fives Soccer Centres offer a unique digital 5-a-side league experience, starting with the player downloading the Fives App, creating a team, joining a league, then managing, chatting & interacting with their teammates through the app, allowing them to select who’s playing and inviting their squad to accept an invitation to that week's fixture. Each player upon accepting the game request can make a cashless payment via card or apple pay on their phone before they have even arrived at the Fives Soccer Centre, no more forgetting your cash or having to bank transfer money.

Upon arrival they are greeted at their pitch by an FA qualified referee, who keeps score via our app, noting each time each player scores, which in turn will update a digital score board situated on their pitch. Throughout their fixture our industry leading pitch cameras will not only record the game but also provide each player with Next Gen Stats including distance run, passes attempted, passes completed & goals scored etc. At the end of the game each player will have access through the app to the game stats, footage, their highlights and can share clips from their game on their social media platforms.

Social Play

Not all players want competitive organised football, some players find it more enjoyable playing socially between a group of friends or colleagues by hiring
a pitch either as a oneoff booking (casual booking) or a fixed weekly booking (block booking).

By downloading our app we have removed barriers to make it easier for organisers to book, pay & manage

their bookings, like the players in the leagues they have access to make payment through the app and are given a QR code to access their pitch, they have use of the digital scoreboard, pitch camera’s & next gen stats as part of their experience.

Stage 06

Age Range
50+ years old

Walking Football

This stage tends to come between the ages of 50 & 60 years old when players start to slow down and consider joining the ever popular walking football.

Working with local community foundation partners or FA’s, our soccer centres offer walking football sessions. The sessions continue the dream of playing football, all be it at a slower pace, and provide a social element for players who may be retired or who are sole occupants. The sessions allow our players to meet like minded people for a game of football with maybe a cup of tea, biscuit and a chat after it.

Hanging up your boots

We all know at some stage the boots will be hung up, we just hope at Fives that this is after many decades of fun & enjoyment playing, studying or working at their local Fives Soccer Centre.
